- How does the program work?
Charm Club Rewards is a free loyalty program that allows members to earn points towards Reward Certificates with every qualifying purchase. Reward Certificates are in increments of $5 and can be applied off the price of any charming charlie in-store merchandise. Reward Certificates are automatically issued monthly by email to members who have earned 1,000 or more points.
- How do I become a member?
Currently, the Charm Club Rewards program is available in select markets among participating charming charlie stores in the United States. A list of charming charlie stores participating in the Charm Club Rewards program is available at charmingCharlie.com/rewards.
You can open an account and become a member of the Charm Club Rewards program at a participating store by simply providing your name, phone and email address. You can enroll in the program regardless of where you live as long as you are in a participating store. As a member, you will receive benefits of the program regardless of where you shop – in other words, your membership status is valid at any charming charlie store.
- How do I earn points?
Points may be earned on any qualifying charming charlie purchase. Qualifying purchases are defined as the purchase amount of any in-store purchase of charming charlie merchandise excluding sales tax, state fees, shipping charges, delivery charges, discounts, redemption of Reward Certificates, redemption of gift cards, and fees or other excluded charges. Program points are awarded upon purchase of charming charlie Gift Cards, but not on redemption.
- Who is eligible to participate?
The loyalty program is open to individuals that are at least 13 years of age and residents of the United States.
- Why can I not enroll at any charming charlie store or on the website?
Currently, the rewards program is available in a limited number of stores. We hope to roll the program out to all our stores in the near future.
We encourage all charming charlie customers to sign up to receive charming charlie emails - along with fashion tips, offers and updates, we will be able to advise you of when the Charm Club Rewards program is available in your area!
- Why do I have to provide my email address to join the Charm Club Rewards program?
We need your email address to deliver communication regarding the program, any earned rewards, and your special birthday bonus. An additional benefit of the program is email alerts of special offers and events, many just for loyalty program members, and these are also sent through email. If you wish, you can cancel (unsubscribe) from the promotional offers at any time and still receive your rewards via email.
- How do I know what stores are participating in the pilot?
A list of stores offering membership in Charm Club Rewards is available at charmingcharlie.com/rewards.
- Why do I have to provide my phone number - I don't want to receive marketing calls.
No worries! The phone number is an easy and consistent way we can quickly look up your account and make sure you earn your points. We do this so you don't have to keep up with a card or membership number.
- How do I earn points when I make a purchase?
We have made this very easy - no membership card required! You simply provide your registered phone number prior to purchase and the sales associate will ensure your purchase earns points.
- How do I know many points I will earn?
Members earn 10 points for every qualifying dollar spent with charming charlie. Points are calculated on total spend after discounts, Reward Certificate redemptions and before taxes and then rounded to the nearest ten point increment. As an example, if your sales total before taxes is $35.61, you will earn 360 points.
- Do I earn points for the purchase of Gift Cards?
Yes, members earn points for the purchase of charming charlie Gift Card. Points are not earned on the redemption value of a charming charlie Gift Card.
- How do I know how many points I have?
Once you join the program, you'll receive a welcome email explaining how to view your point balance online. If you joined more than a week ago and did not receive your welcome email, please check your bulk mail folder. If you still do not see it, contact customer service at 1-888-675-2275 for assistance. You'll need to give them your name, email, and phone number you registered with in-store.
- How soon will I be able to see the points I've earned in my account?
Points for qualifying purchases will post within 72 hours to the account of the member making the qualifying purchase.
- What is excluded from earning points?
Points are earned on the total in-store purchase excluding sales tax, state fees, shipping charges, delivery charges, discounts, redemption of Reward Certificates, redemption of gift cards, and fees or other excluded charges.
- Do points ever expire?
Active members enjoy non-expiring points!
Points are valid for 12 months from the date of the last qualifying purchase. Each qualifying purchase will automatically extend the expiration date of all unused points in a member's account for 12 months from the month of the qualifying purchase. If the member account has no qualifying purchase activity within a 12-month period, all points in the account will expire.
- May I get points for purchases made before I became a member?
Points cannot be accumulated prior to the effective date of the program or on purchases made prior to activating your Charm Club Rewards membership.
- I don't live in a Charm Club Rewards participating city - how can I enroll and earn points for my purchases?
For now, you can only enroll in the program in a participating store, regardless of where you live. Currently, the rewards program is available in a limited number of stores. We hope to roll the program out to all our stores in the near future.
- What do I do if I forgot to provide my phone number prior to a purchase and realize I did not receive points?
At this time, we are unable to award points if you do not provide your phone number at the time of purchase. Make sure to always identify yourself as a Charm Club Rewards member and provide your registered phone number at the register!
- What happens to my points if I make a return?
The points accumulated with a purchase that is later returned will be deducted from your account balance. Should the number of points deducted from your account create a negative point balance, points earned and posted to your account will be applied to the negative balance until the account balance reaches zero. Then, points will resume accumulating for future Rewards.
- What can I purchase with my Reward Certificates?
Rewards Certificates are valid towards the purchase of any charming charlie merchandise available in store. Reward Certificates are not valid on prior purchases or for the purchase of charming charlie Gift Cards.
- Once I've earned enough points, how and when will I receive my Reward Certificate?
Reward Certificates are calculated at the beginning of each month and automatically issued via email within 10 days. The value of the Reward will be in increments of $5 based on total points available for redemption. The only way to receive your Reward Certificate is through email, so be sure your online profile is up-to-date with your current and preferred email address.
- Do my rewards expire?
Unless noted otherwise on the Reward Certificate, each Reward Certificate will expire at the end of the month following the date of issue. (For example, rewards issued in November expire on 12/31.) Reward Certificates must be used before the expiration date indicated on the certificate or the Reward Certificate will be forfeited.
- How do I redeem my Reward Certificate?
To redeem Reward Certificates in store, just print a copy of your Reward Certificate from the email you receive and present it to the sales associate prior to your purchase. Or, you can present your Reward Certificate by showing the certificate on your mobile device. Rewards are only valid for one-time use. You may use up to three Reward Certificates in a single transaction.
- Can I use my Reward Certificate with another promotional offer?
Yes! Reward Certificates are combinable or can be used in conjunction with other Reward Certificates or any other charming charlie promotional or sale price offer, discount or coupon, not to exceed the purchase amount. Please note: Reward Certificates must be fully used within a single transaction; any unused balance will be forfeited.
- I have over 1,000 points in my account but have not received my Reward Certificate yet - can I get it today and use it?
Reward Certificates are calculated at the beginning of each month and automatically issued via email within 10 days. No interim redemptions are possible.
- My Reward expired before I was able to use it - can I still use it?
Rewards are valid until the end of the month following the date of issue and cannot be redeemed once expired.
- I lost my Reward Certificate - how can I redeem it?
Rewards are emailed for you to print out at your convenience. Please make sure to keep your reward email handy until you redeem your Reward Certificate so you can print it out again if needed.
- What happens to my Reward Certificate if I make a return?
In the event you return merchandise that was partially or wholly paid for with a Reward Certificate(s), no Reward Certificate(s) or points will be reissued - reward certificates have no cash value. If you must return part of your purchase, we encourage you to make an exchange instead so you can retain the value of your reward.
- Can I give my reward to someone else to use?
Reward Certificates are not transferable and may only be used by the member to whom issued.
- What do I do if I am not receiving my Rewards Certificates?
Simply go to your online account and make sure we have your current email address. Or, call Customer Service at 1-888-675-2275 to research your account.
- What is a Premium Status member and how do I become one?
Premium Status membership is attained once you spend $250 within a calendar year. Upgrade to Premium status is calculated once per month and you will be sent a premium welcome email within 21 days of that time.
- How do I know how close I am to earning Premium Status?
Once you've registered at charmingcharlie.com, you can log into your account to see how much you need to reach Premium Status or re-qualify for another year!
- How long do my Premium Status benefits last?
Premium status and benefits begin immediately upon receipt notification and are valid for the balance of the qualifying year and through the end of the following calendar year.
- How do I take advantage of exclusive, Premium Status bonus points promotions?
Premium members will receive promotional offers from time to time throughout the year. Each promotion will contain specific instructions for redemption. In general, to redeem a valid Premium Status Bonus Point Certificate, you must be a current Premium Status member and present and surrender the valid Premium Bonus Certificate prior to purchase.
- How do I maintain Premium Status and keep the benefits?
You must qualify for Premium Status by spending $250 or more each year. Eligibility is reviewed monthly and a requalification confirmation will be sent to members. If you do not re-qualify for Premium Status, your Premium Status and benefits will expire at the end of the year.
- Can I qualify for multiple years of Premium Status in a single year? For example, if I spend $600 within a year, will I be Premium Status for the next two years?
No. You must qualify for Premium Status each year by spending $250 or more each year.
- When will I receive exclusive offers and discounts?
charming charlie will send member-only offers from time to time throughout the year. You will receive these offers through various communications, including the email provided in your account profile. If you provide a mailing address, you will also be eligible to receive exclusive offers via postal mail. To ensure you receive the full benefits of your membership, be sure you have opted in to receive charming charlie emails and keep your account profile updated with your current and preferred email and mailing address.
- How do I take advantage of my Birthday Bonus?
As long as you have provided your birth date to us in your account profile prior to your birthday month, we will email a Birthday Bonus Certificate to you approximately one week before your birth month. Birthday Bonuses will vary - it is fun to receive a surprise for your special day! To redeem, simply print the Birthday Bonus Certificate directly from the email and present to the sales associate prior to making your purchase.
- Why didn't I get a Birthday Bonus this year?
There's a good chance we do not have your birth date or valid email address. Please log in to your online account and confirm your profile information is complete and accurate. If the information is complete, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-675-2275 to investigate further.
Account Management & Service
- What is my account number?
Upon enrolling, you are assigned a Charm Club Rewards account and an account number. Upon enrollment, the account number is printed on your charming charlie receipts. You will also receive your account number in your welcome email. If you cannot locate your account number, please contact Customer Service at 1-888-675-2275.
- How do I update my account information?
New members will receive a welcome email including instructions for completing your profile information online. Secure online account access is available using a password you create upon first accessing your account.
- How will I receive membership updates?
Communication about the program, including Reward Certificates and Premium Status notification, will be sent to the email address you provide upon enrollment. Once you have created your online account, you may view and update your profile and account status at any time at www.charmingcharlie.com.
- When will Charm Club Rewards be available in all cities and stores?
Currently, the rewards program is available in a limited number of stores. We hope to roll the program out to all our stores in the near future.
- How do I cancel my membership?
A member may cancel their membership at any time by contacting Customer Service at 1-888-675-2275. Cancellation may take 10 business days to finalize. Upon cancellation, membership will be inactivated. Please note, any unredeemed point balance or unused, valid Rewards Certificates in the account at the time of account closure will be forfeited and customer access to the account will be denied.
Texas Markets - Charm Club Transition
- Will I still receive my 5% discount with the new program?
Starting October 25, 2012 in participating Texas cities (currently Austin, Corpus Christi and San Antonio), Charm Club Rewards will replace the current 5% discount program with even more value. Stores in Texas that are not participating in the new program will continue with the 5% discount program until the new program is rolled out and effective at that location.
After extensive research and feedback from customers, charming charlie has designed this new program based on customer feedback to better recognize and reward customers for shopping with charming charlie.
- What if I want to keep my 5% discount instead of earning points?
There is no option to continue the 5% program in a city that is now participating in the new Charm Club Rewards program. The new Charm Club Rewards program is effective October 25, 2012 in select cities. For the participating Texas cities, currently Austin, Corpus Christi and San Antonio, the new Charm Club Rewards program replaces the 5% discount program with even more benefits and value.
